Going Strong

Listening: Hot Water Music - Freightliner. Gotta brush up.

Talk about a solid week. Wednesday (4/20) was one of the best days in recent memories for me. My Soundgarden tickets were confirmed, I saw an AWESOME reggae show at Highline Ballroom, the Rangers had an epic meltdown and the Flyers got shutout (it's just better when they're doing poorly), and new was released that Thrice will be performing a set of Hot Water Music covers this Friday at Bamboozle. And that was just one day. Two days later, me +7 went to see Coheed and Cambria do an acoustic set/Neverender Second Stage Turbine Blade. What a great show that was. They played for over 3 hours. Claudio threw the double strat over his head during Welcome Home, and I think he may have played with his teeth at some point as well. Insanity.

How awesome has this years NHL playoffs been? Game after game of exciting action. I'm loving the Bruins/Habs series (as expected), as well as Canucks/Hawks. This is going to be a big week to see who plays who in the next round. So far all my predictions are still alive; some aren't looking so hot, though.

Another exciting week to close out April. Got the NY Auto Show on Tuesday, followed by only 2 more days of work. I took Friday off in anticipation of Bamboozle/Hoodwink. I may either play golf or cash in on a free massage gift card at a spa. I'll have to weigh the options and decide.

New Game of Thrones tonight. Get excited.
